Dr Edwin L Bercier III
Dr. Edwin L Bercier III was born in Rayne, LA and has practiced there since 1971. He Graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1969. He entered the US Army after graduation, spending a year as a dentist in Vietnam.
Dr. Bercier is a member of the American Dental Association and gained Fellowship status with the Academy of General Dentistry.
He and his wife, Patricia Newman Bercier, are the parents of 10 children.
Dr Edwin L Bercier IV
Dr. Edwin L. Bercier IV graduated from LSU School of Dentistry in 2004. He has practiced in Rayne since graduation. He is married to the former Lenore Villadiego and they have four children: Jori, Evelyn, Edwin V, and Leo. He earned a BA in Literature from Thomas More College of Liberal Arts in Merrimack, NH, a BS in Microbiology from UL-Lafayette , and his DDS from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans.
Dr. Eddie enjoys watching the Saints and UL football (for better or worse), hunting, and travelling with his family. He takes particular pleasure in seeing his children enjoy their many pursuits, namely karate, ballet, jiu jitsu, and music.
Dr. Bercier has been an Associate Professor of Comprehensive Dentistry at LSU School of Dentistry Hygiene Department since 2004.
Dr. Bercier is a member of the Louisana Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr Anthony J Bercier
Dr. Anthony Bercier is a lifelong resident of Rayne, Louisiana. He is married to the former Kayla Prather of Eunice, Louisiana and they have 2 children, Katherine "Kate," and Anthony Joseph jr "AJ." He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from ULL and his doctor of dental surgery degree from LSUHSC in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He enjoys hunting, fishing, being in the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Currently, he serves as clinical assistant professor for the LSUHSC dental school for the hygiene department in Lafayette, LA.
He is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Louisiana Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr Melanie Hebert
Dr. Melanie Hebert attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a minor in Psychology. She went on to study and do research at LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans in hopes of impacting the future of dentistry. During her time at school, she discovered a passion for serving underserved communities, even traveling to Mexico to provide dental services.
Following graduation, she began practicing with the Bercier family. She also had the unique opportunity to serve as clinical assistant professor for LSU School of Dentistry's hygiene program.
When she is not “talking teeth”, she enjoys traveling, drawing and painting, and staying active outdoors.
